DVDs For Daily Workouts

We all want to find ways to fit in exercises into our busy lives. If you’re looking for low-impact routines which can be easily repeated or full-body workouts in shorter time frames the right DVD could make all the difference.

Denise Austin’s DVD is a 12-minute workout that targets different parts of the body each day. Each segment is designed to be done independently or in succession for complete body workout. It’s a great choice for those who are just beginning to get into a routine routine, or for those who are already active and want to increase their stamina and strength.

The trainer who made her famous on NBC’s The Biggest Loser promises to “eliminate fat.” She’s not kidding; this three-DVD program, which includes two workouts lasting 10 minutes that will make you sweat. Don’t be concerned if this is not the appropriate level for you. Each session includes easier alternatives for those who my review here can’t perform more difficult moves.

Jane Fonda, 74, might be a bit displeasing with her cheesy music or headband reminiscent of Richard Simmons. But her workouts are extremely efficient. She performs the same exercises that she uses in her most popular workouts–such as upper and lower body isometric exercises and exercises using hand weights. In addition, she is a good example of the correct form throughout.

One of the only negative aspects of this DVD is that a new study by a University of Washington professor found that the use of models highlighted body flaws, and many women’s bodies covered up. This DVD offers a 30 day healthy eating plan, as well as worksheets to help you reflect on your own.
