RETURNS POLICY

Before you decide to return a product of Earthen Browns, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional rural artisans. Our products are neither machine-made nor mass produced.

This results in each product being unique and slightly different from each other. Let us not think of slight roughness, mild shape variations, imperfections or lack of aesthetic finish as a defect. This is the beauty of handmade products and also confirms the authenticity that they are not machine-made. Earthen Browns stands behind the quality of its products.

We request you to check the product details thoroughly before buying any product. 

Returns are applicable only in the unlikely event that your Earthen Browns products arrived damaged.

  1. You must email us to support@earthenbrowns.com about any damaged items within 2 days (24 hours) of receiving your order and also send us a picture / video of the damaged item. Your email should contain the following:
    1. Picture/ video of the product in case of damage (b) mention your order number in the subject line (c) mention in the email if you wish to exchange (d) mention reason for return (eg: handle cracked etc)
    2. We will only process replacement if the shipped product is damaged during transit. 
  2. A Returns & Exchanges form should be completed and sent along with the goods. You can submit the return requests by clicking here
  3. We will get back to you within 4-5 working days of receiving the complaint. Authorization for return for the product will be provided after the query has been found valid by our quality team. The sole decision of considering the validity of the query after hearing it from the customer lies with the quality team. 
  4. In case you do not raise a returns claim using the form or through email within the prescribed time you shall not be eligible for a return.
  5. We aim to process exchange of products in about 10-12 working days. If you have any questions about the above, feel free to reach out to Earthen Browns at support@earthenbrowns.com
  6. We will initiate the exchange after we receive the item and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.  
  7. A pickup for the product will be initiated by Earthen Browns
  8. Upon authorization of return of damaged product, Earthen Browns will exchange the damaged product for a fresh product.

Returns of undamaged products are usually not entertained. As a rare exception, in case you still wish to return an undamaged product, please follow the following procedure for the return

  1. A Returns & Exchanges Form should be completed and sent along with the goods. You can file the Returns Form by clicking here or email us to support@earthenbrowns.com
  2. Once your return request is approved you need to aptly package and ship the product into the mentioned address in their original condition.
  3.  In case you prefer to courier by yourself, please ensure that the product is sent within 7 days on receiving approval for return request. Any product shipped after that period will not be eligible for exchange. In case you wish Earthen Browns to pick up the products, the items for reverse pick up will be picked up within 5-7 business days from the date of request.
  4. Both onward & return shipping charges will not be refunded. Please note that Earthen Browns subsidises onward shipping cost for its customers and takes a portion of the cost. Hence, during a return, the shipping cost may not match what Earthen Browns had charged the customer while sending the products initially.
  5. Please ensure that the returned product is unused, undamaged and is in a saleable condition. We request you to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the Earthen Browns tags. Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.

All returns are subject to the discretion of Earthen Browns team based on our policies. Ensuring we have more and more people taking forward our traditional wisdom is our core intention & purpose.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of requests for order cancellations, Earthen Browns reserves the right to accept or reject requests for order cancellations for any reason. As part of usual business practice, if we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been processed/ approved by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed. Earthen Browns has the full right to decide whether an order has been processed or not. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by Earthen Browns and accept Earthen Browns decision regarding the cancellation.

Shipping Policy

Customer is hereby requested to provide accurate information on shipping address as indicated by the registration form by Earthen Browns. We have tie ups with reputed logistics companies to fulfil orders within India / abroad and your orders will be delivered right to your doorstep. As soon as the product is shipped, you will receive an e-mail from us regarding your package tracking information

On an average, it takes us about 2 to 5 business days to ship goods out of our warehouse. However, some products that are mentioned as made-to-order will take longer timeline to craft and the timeline would be mentioned in future communications.

Address change will be accepted only if order has not been shipped. In case a non-delivery takes place owing to the customer’s mistake any additional charge incurred by Earthen Browns for the product’s re-delivery will have to be borne by the customer.

Earthen Browns will not be able to ship to any PO Box address.

Our courier partners will be able to deliver the shipment to you between Monday through Saturday. Working days exclude public holidays and Sundays. Delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions and strikes.

  • We do gift wrapping. After you place your order, reply on the order confirmation email and request for a gift wrap and your message for your dear ones.
